TBOF shoot

Well, all of us are back from Florida. No wins this year, for any of us, but several days of good shooting, great weather, good food and lots of vendors. New to the crew this year was Randy Grider and his wife (Margo). We had a great time with them, even though Randy was shooting a Widow and Carbon arrows.

Good to be back,

Steve

Dale was with us. He shot pretty well, he was able to control the target panic somewhat.

I think Randy was a little distracted by the Florida wilds. He kept looking over his shoulder and seemed a little nervous or maybe it was because he spent so much money on new toys.

You guys have too much fun down there. I am going to start planning to go with you next year and find out the reason for this annual pilgrimage to Florida. My parents and my 3 daughters/grandchildren are all down there and if that is not good enough excuse to make the trip I don't know what is.

Where is it held? Same time every year?

God bless,

Jose

PS I will not be shooting carbons!

Jose,

It's always the first weekend in March. It is held in the Ocala Nat'l forest. It's a good shoot, a nice break after the winter and always fun.

Jose,
The Florida trip is a great way to spend time with friends and just enjoy shooting your bow and forgeting any troubles back at home for several days. It would be wonderful to have you with us next year. God willing we will be able to do it again next year with even more friends to share the good times with. Hope you can make it.

Dale

Dennis, Randy didn't win because ,well..., Randy SUCKS ! And he was beaten by many better men shooting, er, CARBONS ! (like Steve)furious
John, last I heard aluminum is a better conductor of electricity than carbon, I hear the 2018 eastons are prime lightnin' rods ! biggrin
Jose, you need to make the trip, i'd call it a good cabin fever shoot, nice bein in 80 degree weather in the palms after our KY ice storm and resulting 7 day power outage. Needless to say, the wife was ready to go, and looking forward to next year.
Ron Denton wants to go back just to visit his bear friend ! smile
