Fellas, My daughter Lauren went to the District 6 Regionals for the NASP this weekend, where she won best 7-8 grade girl shooter( out of at least 16 schools), her team took second place( she shoots with the high school team, even though she is an 8th grader) and she shot the high score for a female for the entire meet, even beating the high school girls! She shot 271 out of 300, and she tied the high scoring boy who also shot a 271! Needless to say, I am quite proud of her. Sorry to brag, but I think this is one heck of an accomplishment for her, and she is very proud of the big trophy she got.

Jose, I am thinking you may be right on putting us to shame! I think if a hog runs out in front of her, he is in mortal danger. I am still trying to get some information on the school schedule to see if we can maybe plan a hunt around at least a long weekend, break or something so she doesn't have to miss as much school to be able to go. Noone seems to have the same answers for the upcoming school calender yet! I haven't forgot, though. Thanks, Bryan

I'll tell her Dale! She went to the state shoot Monday, and I think she got some target/ clock panic, and only shot a 254/300, but her team still qualified to go to the Nationals! She left Tuesday morning for a trip to Washington D.C. with the school, so she did have a lot on her plate at the shoot. Maybe she will do a little better at Nationals, we'll see! Bryan
