Happy B-day John! You got 1 year and 6 months on me. Follow the advise of the younger generation and start collecting. I thought we did not collect until 65!?

I am down in FL visiting my aging parents. I am glad I picked the right week to come down. My wife tells me the yard is full of broken branches and the neighborhood looks like B-52's had a run over it. Even worse across the river. She works in OH and they called to tell her that she does not need to come to work until monday!

I am hoping for sunshine to clean my car at the airport before I get home on saturday.

Stay healthy.

God bless,

Jose

I heard that it's the worse storm in KYs history. We sent 24 men (3 crews, 12 trucks) down to help out in Paduka, KY. they're supposed to be back by monday, but I have my doubts. I've worked to many ice storms, they are nasty and unpredictable

I have been without power since tuesday 5 pm, no water since wednesday, but the water came back on this morning, so.., seeing how it took that long to get power to the water company pumping station, I figure on being in the dark another week, they predict it could take 2 weeks to restore all power.
I have a small generator and a kerosene heater so we are warm and comfy.
May as well get used to hard times, someday there may not be any utilities if the economy keeps going the direction it is going.
