Well, I was "amongst 'em" today. Homeland Security must be planning a coup, because they sure shot up a lot of Taxpayer's dollars in ammo this morning. They opened up right at deer-thirty. I used their noisy bursts to cover my noisy steps, and Oozed up on a buck. Having killed one already, I had No buck tag... Later, I managed to get within 12 yards of a doe, but it was a baby just out of spots, and I had meat in the freezer, so I let her walk. What a grand morning---frosty, too!
went from seeing 20 a day to not seeing a single one yesterday.it may have something with them finaly getting the beans out of the fields,usually have had better results the evening,or next day,,nothing,,,,im so frustrated.
