I've been a couple times in the evenings. Seen a few but no shots yet.  It's too dry down this way.

We took the dogs for a walk early this morning down at the falls. I noticed the cotton woods are dropping their leaves. The trees in general are starting to look, um... not as green. DEN

I took the grandson and dog over to the farm this morning. Saw your Jeep at Purdue John. Taking a dog not trained yet and a 6 yr old kinda handicaps the hunting but it needs to be done. Heard two squirrels barking back and forth but could not get close enough before the dog scared them. I just need to kill a couple out on him to get him headed the right direction. May try again tomorrow by myself. Hope it rains tonight.

I guess this falls under the catagory,  have you got anything yet? I don't know about anyone else, but I've got about 40 so far. I'm not streatchin the truth either, although that's just an estimate. In reality the number is probably closer to 50. Tick bites that isfurious

This weekend  we went to a little 3-D up at Floyd C.C.C. Last time up there I beat Billy by one point. He said that'll never happen again, and to prove it he shot like an Olympian. Don't matter though, it's already in the record books. biggrinAnyway I woke up monday itching. I thought a dang skeeter must have been in the room somewhere. When I got in the shower and let that hot water hit me I knew what it was. One leg, down around my ankle is tore to peices. The other just has about two or three bites. Last night I probably didn't sleep much. I called Billy and asked if he had any tick bites, and he said ticks must not like him. I told him I was ate up and he laffed. He said I wouldn't have any if I wasn't in the weeds behind the targets lookin for my arrows. I think I know why the ticks don't like him muchwink I called Ronald and guess what? He says he's got a thousand bites on himbiggrin He's got them from the neck downbiggrin The funny thing is I had on pants treated with that peromonone stuff. They got in over my low cut boots.

Well Ronald said spray Benedryl helps a little. Only thing he bought out the Wallgreens right down from my house and the one in  Clarksville too. I guess I'll head up to Sellersburg and try to beat him there. DEN

Dennis,
Sounds more like chiggars than tick bites. If you get 50 tick bites you would probably be one sick dude! Clear Calamine lotion works real well on taking care of the itch also.

No John I don't think so. I don't even know what that is. You didn't bring any of that home from the jungle did you?

I talked to Ronald again. Looks like me and him walked in the wrong place. Billy and Big Ron McD were untouched.

Next time I'm out I'm gonna have so much bug spray on me that if a bird flys over he'll drop dead. Come on frostashamedbiggrin
