Well, Monday is the end of hunting season. I have hammered the squirrels this year and really had a ball doing it. Kenny and I shot them cutting on nuts early, then stalked them on the ground for about three weeks, and then started hunting with his dog, "Roxy". Kenny got so hooked on it, he bought a new Howard Hill bow just for squirrels. I managed 39 to my bow, and I believe he's shot around 25, so we did very well, in my estimation.
Today isn't looking good with freezing rain here, but we're going just the same! Tomorrow is the "Last Hurrah" You guys better get out and enjoy it!
39 squirrels!! Holy moly that's some good shootin'. I hope to get out with the kids next season and try bowhunting for some tree rats. Do you guys eat all of them or give them away?
