I shoot into bag filled with plastic out in the backyard. Last evening I was working out my 62# osage bow. Still trying to "sight it in" Being that heavy I can't get a lot of shots out of it before I tire out. Anyway, I plucked it pretty good one shot, and missed the bag and had a complete pass thru on our wood privacy fence. Not between boards but thru the board itself ! I went outside the fence to retrieve the arrow, thinking it was just on the other side of the fence, but could not find it. I stewed on it the rest of the night, worried that my neighbor lady would find it when she mowed and cause a stink. I waited for her to leave for work this morning and went arrow hunting. Found it in her backyard about 20 yds past the hole in the fence. This is one hard shooting bow. And the Alaskan Cedar arrow was not even damaged !
I think the best set up for me is a sheet of plywood and some hay bales.
