I really don't have the time right now (I need to finish a pistol before Friendship) but figured I can hang this on the wall in the shop as a carrot to get the pistol done so I can get back to this.
Bamboo on osage, with padauk, purple heart, osage and maple lams. Still a lot of wood removal ahead but it's a start.

Right limb looks fine but the left could use some scraping near the handle. Do that and take 'er home. Should hit about 55# at 28". It won't gaim much weight in the last 5 ", not like a longbow.I'd scrape that left limb maybe 5 or 6 scrapes and work it some,it takes a while for that thicker area to register after wood removal.I'd flex it maybe 30 times before deciding it's registered. Also look in a mirror while drawing it. Bow profiles will look different in the hands comapred to on the tree.
