Bandsaw will be kinda messy but would definitely do the job. I cut 'em off with a pair of side cuts or what some folks call dikes. Scissors won't touch 'em, tin snips would prolly get 'em though. I need to score a few more sets this spring too. To answer your question cut 'em now before the wing gets ta stinkin'!
