my redwing is 51# the arrows 400gr ,average speed of 193 fps.
is this about right for the draw wt / arrow wt ? or is the bow kind of fast ?

What's the arrow length? Also, what is your draw length?

arrows are 29" & my draw is 27"

Is that 51@27? 8gr per pound is pretty light. I'd say your bow was on average with today's top performers. Are you using dacron string on it? The old ones weren't made for fast flight.
