"just book it . i can put my full amount in now if it helps"
Yeah, but the deposits are not refundable, and I ain't payin' for them all. If you want to call Matt and set it up using your credit card, I'll sure send the $150 to you. I know Jose' will, and I'm sure Steve will. You can contact Bryan to see where he stands.
OK, looks like Steve, John, Jose' and I are firm. I will call Shiloh today and book the hunt, if the dates are still open. I may have to pay the $750 up front, but if so, you guys can pay me. Maybe Bryan will chime in today, and my Bud, Kenny is interested. I'm sure we can get the 5th person.
ok, we're booked. We have 10 days to pay our deposits. Please send them to me ASAP. Make your checks to Shiloh ranch, for $150 each. John Nail 2323 N Highschool Rd Westport, IN 47283
john my oldest son james said he wants to go but needs to talk it over with his wife tonite first. i'm pretty sure he will go . i'll let you know for sure tomarrow.
Guys, we will need to limit this to 5, unless we plan to take two cars. I will give Bryan until tomorrow morning-Friday- to make up his mind, then I will invite my friend Kenny (see the post above where he was interested) if he doesn't go, Steve Redden's friend is next in line, and then, John's son. That's the order of the requests I recieved. I hope no one is offended.
OK, Kenny Ertel is in, and Bryan's out. Sorry Bryan.
John, Shiloh can take a max of 7 hunters, but I don't know how that many can ride in one vehicle. If we had 7 (your son and Steve's friend) and someone else was willing to drive, it would work.
John, Sorry for the late rply. If you have a spot free up, let me know, I think I can go. If you don't, that's OK too. Snooze I lose I guess! Thanks, Bryan

John, If I don't get a spot on this hunt, don't despair, just keep me in mind for the next one.Jim and I were talking about going to Tennessee on a hog hunt if this one don't work out, so I will go on that one if you don't have a spot. Let me know if you need another hunter, though, and I will get the deposit in. Thanks, Bryan

May I make a suggestion. Tow a trailer out behind you loaded with coolers. Put your gear in the coolers. If you get lucky and I'm thinking several of you will, you can load your gear in big garbage bags and stuff them between the now loaded with hog meat coolers. If no one has a trailer you are welcome to use mine.If you have one of the big coolers like mine, you can get your clothes and even a take down in it. Maybe even large Totes for food and stuff. Wish I could go but in lieu of that I sure want to help out some.

MAN ALIVE. Yall gonna have fun. I know there will be more hunts, and I'll be in on the next one. I'm like Tim, I want to help all I can. Next shoot I'll be selling special Shiloh hot spot maps to all the honey holes I discovered last time. If it's dry I know where the only water is. I also found where the big spotted boars like to sleep. I also have all the good climbing trees marked. DEN
i would also try to go. texas maybe? if not this year why not start planning a hunt for next year. i think dennis might get one if he tried the knife hunt below???

Thank You for your inquiry and for in interest in hunting with 7th Age Bowhunting!!
From the way I read your message it appears that you would ideally like to hunt a property where you could potentially target both sheep and pigs. Unfortunately we don't presently have property upon which I would consider placing your group where you would have a good chance at both of these species.
However, on the Pecos River Ranch we do have abundant Sheep and Goat, with very rare hog and a few javelina. I've attached more information on this for your review. You get one free yew and one free Spanish billy with your hunting fee. Also one free javelina and unlimited free hogs. Kill fees on the other sheep and goats vary with species and size and range from $250 for a single curl or less, $375 for more than one curl, and $575 for a Boer of either sex. There are vast numbers of goat and sheep on this property, but as I say, the javelina and hog are fairly rare. There are also lot's of Bobcat and a few Mountain Lion, but none of either have been taken by bowhunters thus far.
If you prefer to target hogs and javelina, as well as small game, we have another property near Odessa, TX with very abundant numbers of both. There are no kill fees and rates are the same as for the Pecos Place. Also, we have guided night hunting for hogs, with dogs, for an additional fee. The weapon of choice for these hunts is a Bowie type knife and calls for the hunter to get on top of the animal to make the kill while the dogs hold it at bay. Very exciting, but only for the strongest "wild type".
All group hunts require a minimum of five paying hunters and include lodging. Meals can be provided for an additional $25 per day per person. We do have other properties where hunters can camp-out on their own and provide their own meals. Pricing varies with the species of game you wish to target, and with the location of the ranch. I can provide more information if this is something you might be interested in.
Thanks again and I can be of further service in helping organize a hunt for you and your group please don't hesitate to contact me.
Something to ponder: If we had 6 hunters going to Shiloh we can divide the group in 3 2-hunters groups instead of 5 singles or 2 2-hunters and an odd hunter. Either way we sure are going to keep the hogs moving. Hopefully we will get some rain a few days before to "quiet" the ground.
John, I am sorry to hear that! I think Steve DAle and myself were going to drive seperate anyways to free up some space, and we may stay in a motel overnight before the hunt. Do you think we can find someone else to go in your stead? Bryan
