Just wanted to invite you fellers south of the Ohio river on sept 8 for our last shoot of '07. This is the Tyler Roberts Memorial Shoot, in honour of one of our young members we lost just last year. This is a benefit shoot, and all proceeds go to a school in Richmond,KY to purchase archery equipment needed for the National Archery in Schools Program. Last year we raised $3,000, and got a school near London started. It takes a minimum of $2,600 to get a school started. A lot of this money was raised through donations (money, and raffle/auction items) We can sure use all the help we can get, so if you can donate, or even just attend, it could be a huge help. Don't forget this is the big fish fry/potluck cookout as our last shoot always is, and the food alone is worth the trip! Hope to see you guys !
anyone want to go with me ??? i'll be leaving from seymour and have room for a couple people. my car ain't purtty , but it don't drink much gas either!!! anyone is welcome to ride along
This is Dennis. I would like to go. I'll see if Ronald and Billy are going. Ron's been working a lot of saturdays. If Ronald can go, Catfish just be down here early and we'll all ride in his Escalade in style.
Well Ronald came by the house this morning. He had a sad story, but he said to not tell anyone. So here's what happened. Last Friday he fell off an 8' ladder at work. Luckily he didn't break anything but he got all bruised up and tore some stuff in his left shoulder. He still had it in a sling this morning. He goes back to the DR. tomorow.
Anyway he wants to go to the KTBA if he's not working that day. He still wants to go even if he can't shoot. Billy wants to go too.
I'll let you know more as it gets closer. We can all ride down in his Navigator, for about $50 each in gas.
Right now I am planning on going. Things tend to change for me but I want to go. From where I live in Ky., I cut accross country. I'll see you guys there.
Well I talked to Ron and he's still off work. He says he'll probably go even though he can't shoot. He says he'll make strings, but I think he just wants fish. I'll find out more later about the times and how many he can haul in his Hummer. If he's still on pain meds I plan on riding with Steve H. DEN
