well i shot my new arrows today and they shot great ...........untill the feathers fell off !!! i used spray paint for the green base coat and it didn't stick to good to the wood . i think i should have sealed them after staining them and then painted them ? oh well . i learn everything the hard way , makes me remember it longer.
duco. i think the problem was the spay paint . i used a oil base stain then painted and the paint didn't stick to good . i think i should have sealed with poly then painted and the more poly , thats what i'll try next time anyway. each time a feather comes off the paint is still on feather and not the shaft
