Boys, shoot an arrow for me on saturday: it is my birthday, 59!. I can't believe I am this old already. God willing and the creek don't rise I should make the september shoot. It is good to be in Maine during summer. I have not turned the AC on yet! We have had a few days of 80's, but mostly mid 60-70's. I found a club/range just few miles out of town. I am planning to go today and walk around and fling a few. Life is good!
Don't eat too many burgers today. They tend to make you fat.
Fatalities are up this year from vehicles and moose collisions. On the other hand I have yet to see the first one. I am going up north in august to Houlton again. They have more moose up there. I hope to see one then. Getting drawn for moose in Maine lottery is more difficult than hitting the big Lotto. I have gotten 2 points in the New Hampshire lottery for moose. I will start getting my name in the drawing next year. I need to build up a little: NH requires a minimum of 60 lbs. draw for moose.
