This is Dennis. It was a ok day. Nothing special. The ticks were out in force. Alot of us suffered from sunstroke. Tim had bad gass. Targets were set with only left handers in mind. There, see you didn't miss anything.
Now for the truth. It was a great day to be alive, and free.
It seemed like it was one of our biggest shoots. The course was all greened up and in bloom. Dave and crew did a great job as usual. Everyone had a great time, and the prizes on the blanket were all very nice.
If it makes you feel any better a couple of the other guys couldn't make it either. Hope to see you next time. DEN
I had to go out of town for work, but as usual I keep an eye on this web site to know what my "friends" are up too. I believe I have seen that fellow in the picture. All I know for sure is he seems like a handsome one. If it's who I think it is he is an archery legend. He is one of the true archers who has not given into that Ron Nixe, Billy Ashby, etc. shotgun style of shooting but still shoot splitfingered style and real arrows not pipe cleaners. But..... I may be mistaken....it could be just a valuble picture (movie star)placed on the trade blanket. I'm sure it was drawn first.
Anyway, hope to see you guys at Nancy. I am still in South Carolina. I get home Wednesday night late.
Sorry to break it to you Steve but he had to sweeten the pot with $20. Sorry.
