Well, let me start with camping in the rain is not always the most fun. Shooting in the rain is not a lot of fun, but... any day of archery is better than the best day at work.
Dale Pottinger, Ron Denton (from Bowing Green, comes to Scottsburg when he can) and myself attended this shoot. Dale and I didn't shoot our best and finished out of the "money". Ron tied for third and lost in a shoot off.
We did have a good time seeing our old friends, being in the warm weather and eating a lot of food. Not as many vendor as normal but enough to spend money.
My favorite part of the trip was the Bowie Knife Ron Denton made for me. I will carry that on my quiver belt, to protect me from Ron Nixe.
