I'm back too
(Preview)
From the dang hosp. Seems I've got an irregular heartbeat. It's supposed to go thumpity thump thump, and mine goes boom shaka laka laka, boom shaka laka. They think it may be from being overbowed so I may have to make me a lighter one to start out. Then they asked me if I shoot split or 3 under and I told the...

Broke a bow today
(Preview)
I started on this bow last spring. Its curly osage. I didn't have much hope of this surviving from the start. The amount of curl in the grain made it poor quality for a selfbow. It was heavy and weak. I was trying for a low poundage target bow. I heard it tic while checking the weight today. I shut my e...

Bear Razorheads?
(Preview)
I bought a bunch of new, old stock 1920 Easton shafts from an old friend. As a bonus, he sent me 11 that were fletched (my length!) with Bear razorheads with inserts. What are the broadheads worth? My point being I could change them out and save them, but I kinda want to kill stuff with them.
