Vine Maple Bow
(Preview)
I just finished up this vine maple bow. It's just under 63" long and 45 lbs @ 25". The skins are broad banded water snakes. The tip overlays are big horn sheep. The bow has some humps and bumps. The reflex isn't even. The top limb deflexes out of the fade and then reflexes in the outer thir...

Matt Caudill...your grips done
(Preview)
Hey Matt!! I guess since we are covered up in snow it would be a good time to work on your grip! I took the leather grip off and measured the amount of material to remove, got out my scraper and went at it! Had to re trim the leather to make it fit then matched leather color for your side plate and rest. Reglue...

Red Osage Bow
(Preview)
I recently finished this bow up for somebody. Its from some dense red osage that I cut a few years ago. The grain lines really show up in it. The back is mostly concave and has some slight humps and bumps down the entire length. There is a small knot hole in it. This bow seemed to fight me all the way thro...

The Revenant
(Preview)
We are going to see this movie on Friday when it opens. It looks like it will be a good one. It's based on the incredible true story of Hugh Glass. One of the members on the Primitive Archer forum made all the bows and arrows for the movie. Anybody else planning on seeing it?
