of deer! Because of the dark of the moon, I took off Monday and Tuesday and of course,hunted Saturday and Sunday. In the three days, I've passed on three deer(two spikes and a forky) Have seen a total of 13 deer in range......I'm stalking around on the ground, and I'm likin' it!

Hi all: Shot a button buck this morning at about 9:30AM. Hope you all made meat as well. I had decided not to shoot unless it was a mature doe or decent buck until the rut was on, but I was squirrel hunting and saw this one feeding my way. Knelt down and waited, just to see how close he would come....

..lots of squirrels. I see bunches every time I go out. Killed two grays yesterday, and it seems like there are a lot more grays than fox squirrels this year. One of them had just weaned another litter. May they keep 'em coming! Little gray buggers are tough to hit with the longbow!
