Kenny and I are planning a trip to Iowa next fall just for squirrel and rabbits. We figured that if a couple more crazies wanted to go and drive another car, we could do twice the scouting by splitting up into two (or more) groups. SE Iowa is about an 8 or 9 hour drive from here, and we'd have to buy a 5-day out of state small game license.
You could probably camp on public ground, but I'd investigate that first.
Well now, that's something different, going to Iowa for small game. From some previous posts it seems you're not having much trouble with the small game thing at home.
