I talked to the folks who farm our farm and they said they ran 9 rabbits out of the beanfield while cutting beans. That number surprised me. Maybe there are more there than I thought. I'm going to keep building brush piles and putting out salt. The Mrs. gave our grandson a beagle pup out of hunting stock. She's big enough to run now so I think I'll take her to the farm after Xmas and she if she hits a trail.
You have a beagle don't you ? Wouldn't hurt to run a pup with an old dog while breaking it in.
