The rumors of my demise have been greatly exxagerated If you see someone that looks like me, but all gray/white hair... it is me.
Believe it or not, I keep track of the club and all of you. I may show up at the club one of these days. As a matter of fact I was thinking about you and maybe going hunting somewhere.
Age and grandchildren,10 of them already!, have taken a lot of my time lately. I still shoot my bow in the basement now and then. I may show up for the next shoot, God willing. It is a loooong ride for an old man and driving my loneself makes it a lot longer and hard to decide on it. But dont believe for a minute that I think less about you all. I still do as much as before... When my feeble brain works, that is. My doctor cant decide if I still have any functioning brain...
Thanks for asking. See you all one of these days.

Unfortunately all the grandchildren live away. The closest one is 2 hours away and he is only 1yr old. When he gets a little older I can keep him with me for a weekend and bring him to the shoot. He needs to be taught the old ways of doing things, which, for most of us, are the right ways of doing things. Be fun, definitely, to see you all again. Cant wait!

One other little problem I have is that now that I am retired I got me a summer job: mow the lawn at church; and that usually is done on Friday or Saturday depending on the weather. I do it with another old fellow and it takes us about 2-3 hours to finish the job. If one of us is not around the one has to do it by himself in which case it takes you half a day.

I will not make todays shot. I have to help clean the Rotary club building which has been abandoned for a while since it got flooded last spring. It is finally ready for business. Well be moving back in today. See you next time, God willing.
