September shoot

It's that time of year again!! Would like to see as many people set up a table to sale or trade stuff just to make it more interesting for new visitors and regulars, just grab some old stuff you can stand to part with ya never know what you have that might make someone's day wether you think it's junk or not, you know what they say one man's trash is another man's treasure lol. So if at all possible let's set up as many tables as possible and make this one to remember.

I know Dale has made a new batch of bow socks to set up a table and he is already planning items for the trade blanket. I have also started gathering items for a table and the trade blanket. I hope others will do the same and try to get our event back on track of being more than just a normal shoot. If you have any questions about these events or any other parts of our weekend just ask on here. Good time for us to camp out, trade around some of our stuff and maybe get a little extra cash.

I heard a couple say they was gonna try and put back a few limb chickens for Sat dinner.

That sounds like a great plan to me although I only been out one time and have yet to fire a SQ arrow.

I am in the process of trying to contact that legendary Briar Hopper and master campfire chef Ol Johnny Muck.

I remember the last time he fried up a bunch of Squarks and they was delicious.wink

And what was best was that nobody died of food poison and there was only a few whiskers in the gravydoh

That boy is awful hard to get in touch with these days, so's if anyone sees him out and about tell him to get ahold of his bretheren up in INDIANA.

I'm looking for some 175g screw in broadheads. Preferably 2 blade. If anyone has some to sell/trade bring them and let me know.

This morning I have been rooting around the place finding items for my sale table and the trade blanket. I have found several items. Found more than I thought. I know others plan to do the same and that we might spark some others to do the same. It's really about having fun and not really about money, but money is fun too! Remember the trade blanket is the old style mountian man trade blanket and not a yard sale type (but you are encouraged to bring stuff and set around with the with tables and get rid of some stuff. I hope Dave may come on here and put an agenda for the weekend but as a quick overview, gate is open Friday morning early. You can set up camp and when the course is set you can shoot. On Saturday you can shoot early. Not sure of exact time but around noon we will shoot our "best of the best" shoot off for the club champ. It will be our top ten for the year in this event. We hope many will stay to watch this and see some fine shooting. I know Dave plans a club meeting shortly after this. Please stay to give your opinion and vote on any club changes. I know the ladies that have been fixing our meals are know longer doing this so Dave may get on here to explain what we will do for this shoot and going forward. Let's make this an good one and please bring out the kids and spouses. One last thought, please sign our sheep skin hanging behind the desk. Anyone that shows up at our shoot (shooting or not) are requested to do so, we are one big family!

Thanks for a great weekend. I had a great time. Thanks for letting us camp over night. The trade blanket was fun. I'm glad someone else appreciated my fox hide. I don't get to make many shoots through the year but the September shoot is always marked on my calendar.
