Some of you may already know about this, as it was discussed at the KyTradFest, and the guys running this shoot were the ones raffling the Henry .22 rifle. KTBA had planned a shoot for this day, but offered them the use of the grounds so they could host this shoot. KTBA has nothing to do with the proceeds, or expenses of this shoot, but it being for a good cause, I would like to invite, and encourage all you Hoosiers to participate.
Don't expect what we had at Tradfest, its a one day, 30 target shoot, but they promise some novelty shots a s well. It will be a mixed shoot (compounds) But a big showing of traditional guys will show the public we are out to support taking less privelaged kids hunting, fishing, and other outdoor sports. The plus side is getting some wheel bow shooters interested and possibly joining our ranks, as im sure many have had no exposure to our sport.
Its not mentioned in the flyer, but I think a blanket trade would be nice around lunchtime, I may bring some old recurves and such myself.
Shoot this weekend, I'd love to see a big showing from traditional shooters, may spark intrest with the compound group. I encourage anyone to bring items for a blanket trade too.
