Boys, I hope you did not forget to get your names in the KY elk lottery, but if you did I have 6 tickets I got in the mail for a separate drawing. They will have to be posted by May 18. They are $25 each, 6 for $100. I do not see anything on the ticket about "foreigners"; soooo I guess you hoosiers should be OK if you get drawn. Drawing is on May 27. I will not charge you too much for the favor
No takers? Give me an address and I'll send you the envelope and the tickets and you guys can split them anyway you want. As you know you only have to buy the out of state license if you get drawn. I had already bought my regular tickets, one for each sex, or I'd keep them. Remember they have to be in the mail by the 18th.

Here is a picture of one ticket. If you can get few other guys you can get the 6 tickets for a $100 and split it. Cheaper that way. These are for bull elk only as you can see on the ticket. Let me know

The only condition is that if you draw you will have to let me tag along so I can serve as your translator and ambassador, no "garrontees" as the cajun gentleman used to say because for the Eastern KY people if you weren't born there... well, you might as well be from China or Timbuktu: you just can't be trusted. Is it already to late to apply for the state tag ? I hate when they changed this, I keep forgetting ! Used to just buy it when I bought my sportsman license, LBL permit, and bonus deer tag. I don't adjust well to change.......
Randy, the deadline is 30 April. Plenty of time. These tickets I have are for a bull elk only, see picture above. They are for the benefit of the KY Fish and Wildlife Foundation. I can't remember why I get them, but I've been getting them for several years. Maybe because at one time I was the delegate for the UBK for the district in my area.
I got mine, one cow/one bull, last week. You can not buy tags: you buy a chance to win a quota tag. If you get drawn then you buy the quota tag: $100 for bull and $60 for cow.
