Tim, wanted to ask/remind you about the Torges BBO video and if I can borrow it. Gene is bringing me some boo and I have URAC at home. I should have access to all the other tools I'll need.

QUESTION? Are the shoot rules posted? I was just wondering if an out of state archer can win the Indiana state championship?

I'm not exactly positive, but yes, I think one could.

I believe a couple of our members have won the state championships in other states as well.

Thanks Tim, I don't think I need to borrow a toothing plane just yet. I will probably be a little while before I can get the slat and boo tapered and ready for glue up. I'm mainly wanting to assemble the materials and try to figure out a plan. I wouldn't mind looking at it to see if I have something that I could make one out of.

Sorry Gen'lman but anything south of the Muscatatuck River ain't Hoosier !!. So M'thinks John Nail and I have the whole deal sewed up.

Really I don't give a patooty about the State thing. All I want is to someday break 300, longbow,'curve , selfbow , don't care.

I'm bringing some nice rifle guns along on the ride to show off. New pistol too.

Hope anyone who volunteered to bring food remembers it. I made a nice big pot of venison chili tonight (real chili, no macaroni crap) and baked a cherry pie (actually I baked two but 'et one of them

Got a few trade goods together- some slats, two drawknives,sheath knife and the piece de resistance', a big chunk of pipestone. It'll take something good to take it off of me.

Neil, best thing is to watch the video several times. That will give you a plan. Follow it to the T. When you are ready you can borrow my plane and my jig and clamps. You can't hardly buy the plane. I made mine and a machinist friend who makes repros off antique tools made the iron. The jig you'll need but no need to make one unless you plan a lot of bows. Takes a bunch of clamps of the same size, and I got those too.
