Since we won't see each other before it takes place, who's going and when ? Jackson and I plan on driving down Friday morning and setting up camp till Sunday morning.I plan to make up a big batch of something for Friday Supper, enough to feed 6-8 folks. I'll bring my big propane cooker and a BIG skillet for cooking bacon and eggs Saturday morning. I'll have enough fixins for Jackson and I plus some. Anyone wants to cook up the same, we'll be set up for it.I'm leaning toward bringing a couple pies or cakes for the pitch in Saturday night unless someone comes up with something else for supper that night.

I will either go there fri morn and stay till Sun morn, or if the weather is bad I will just go for the day sat. Sounds like it would be smart to set my camp near you.
Kentucky Trad Bowhunters Asso. KTBA. Harrodsburg Ky. April 8,9,and10. It's a good one. There's a link on our webpage to KTBA with directions. Good camping.
We are planning to go down Saturday. I suspect we'll just head back home that evening. It sort of depends on how many of the clan are going. We'll make sure to look you all up whilst we're there though.
I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it. We are having a birthday party for my father in law Saturday evening. Plus I have a camper project going on that I need to finish up before the Tennessee Classic.
Great time...cold and windy! Almost in the really bad wreck on 64 west that happened last night...had to swerve and miss the collision in front of Harvey and me...missed them by what had to have been inches...next car didn't fare so well. Third car struck the first two and caught fire...several people died they said. Very scary moment...poor Harvey was sleeping in the back. It was hard to control that camper on the back of my explorer doing 60-65mph and have to jerk the wheel that hard to miss two cars that collided...bad way to end the night. We got home safe and I just had to set there for a minute and hug my little buddy. I guess you just never know what can happen. Probably should just stayed another night at camp.
Hate that you had to go through such a terrifying ordeal, but happy your safe. We just never know when our ticket will get punched. Very sobering thought.
On a happier note...my son Harvey (4yr old) said he wanted to live there at tradfest, and that "we just need to go get mommy and my little brudder). He truly does love camping at these shoots. Everyone is always so nice to him...and he really took up with Bob and Theresa. I think I got him hooked on knives...thats not a bad thing though!
