Well went to the expo and with the favorable weather it was a heck of a turnout. I was asked at the last minute to help with Kevins booth they gave him, setting up a nice historical display of bows and other early period archery items. Some of the items included...Glenn St. Charles baleen backed static recurves, his early sweetland hunting arrows, his stetson hat, shooting glove (all signed)
A huge selection of "wayside" bows from the early 1900's, possible unmarked grumley with brush tips (sweet bow).
But the couple of this that were most impressive to me was William "Chief" Compton bow, a signed letter from Art Young and a stumping arrow that was Saxton Pope!
There were huge amounts of bows for sale but it was common items, only saw two bear wood handles floating around for sale (mint green stripe "b", and a nice type 1 "a" that that landed into none other than Kevins hands! We had a lot of people asking about itba club thanks to Kevins shout out in TBM.
