Thank you all for your prayers and encouragement. The Veterans Administration but a lot of hurdles and nonsense in the way but dad is finally at home, still being fed intravenously and getting basic care. Ed is feeling stronger and is able to putter around the shop for brief periods. He has started chemotherapy, and will have his second treatment today. He appreciates the outpouring of support. The doctors give him no hope of a cure but that is, of course, really up to God.
Terrible news. I heard a while back that he wasn't doing well. I met him at Cloverdale several years ago. I regret not getting a picture with him. I've watched his video more times than I can count. It was an honor to hold some of his bows and look them over.
Same with me Clint. I met him a couple of times at Cloverdale and he was such a gracious and humble man. You just could not help but like the man the instant you met him.
