Here's the place you asked me to find. I figure 4 or 5 of us could make it work

Sounds nice. See if you can find it on a topo map. See if you can drive a 4 wheel drive up into it.

I remember that one place you had to climb a mountain to get to the state land.

Try and find out if it's got Osage groin on it.biggrin

John, I been looking and can't find that exact location.

I've looked around the area. That is definitely out in the country.smile

You can't hunt within city limits no ... unless you have "urban deer hunting" which by the way recently passed in Maysville. I hope I can shoot a doe within 100 yards of my house and have her run up the hill and die in my yard. Kind of convenient, don't you think?

Jose you need to get a hot tub on your back deck to hunt out of.

I might be tempted to get a KY license for that.biggrin

I am guessing it is right around Monks Mule and horse camp.

If so you will have a LOT of hunters in the area.

OK found it!

It is on whats called Tipton creek about a mile west of Kurtz.

The property is an old Railroad right of way.

The east end is the road frontage which used to be a RR trussel

If interested I now know exactly where its at. Do not know the person who owns it.

There are a LOT deer and turkey in that area.

Jim:

Heading West, do you come over a hill on 58, turn right, and cross a little creek, then the place is on the left?

Been there and hunted. I thought it was a part of the NF. There are Deer/Turkey/squirrels there.
