I'm going. Plan on heading down on Saturday. I'm bring an assortment of kids with me I think. How many kids I bring will decide if we camp or head back home Saturday evening. Looking forward to it, always enjoy myself there!

Saturday night blanket trade, bluegrass music, potluck feast, raffle drawings, and Marv Clynke guest speaker ! This guy is the real deal, have messaged and talked with him several times. My plans are the meat off two deer plus a big pot of bean soup. It will be backstraps, and venison burgers.

A couple pies would more than get ya in. No food donations neccessary, but we will have a money bucket for those that wishto donate money to offset the cost of burgers and hotdogs, drinks the club buys.

John, I am leaning toward Friday also. They are calling for storms on Saturday and rain W-Th. I'll be coming home on Saturday any way. I have to go to church with mama on Sunday.
I was planning on coming to the shoot today, but an old friend died and the service was today.

The weather is looking better . Thunderstorms on Friday but Sat and Sun are looking good. I'm guessing rubber boots will be in order.Either way I'm looking forward to it after the Winter we had.

I set the targets today, while the trails were dry. With any luck we can dodge this rain, regardless the show will go on ! We have a lrge party tent, and a big porch on the clubhouse, plus all the vendors have tents so we will make do even if it does rain. Ill try and get some pics of the course tomorrow to post on here. Hopefully the forecast will change for the better. The trails were in good shape today, as was the camping/parking fields. Firewood is stacked as well. I get time tomorrow ill try and cover it to keep it as dry as possible.

Big crowd already, plenty of vendors, and grounds drying up nicely. Marv Clynke showed up just in time for the Brown's Friday night meal (Which was great !). What a fine guy he is ! We talked hunting stories , just the kind of guy that everyone likes, I think he was a great choice, cant wait to hear him speak tomorrow night about High Country mule Deer hunting ! Great day today, tomorrow even better !
