Good turnout today thanks to ITBA making a good showing. I had to leave early, and was curious if we settled up to the winner of the competition shoot. I apologize for target 13 (or lack there of) I hear everyone got a 10 on it ! :)
Dale dang it, don't know if I even got to speak to you, always so many people to talk to and not enough time ! We are planning on another KTBA LBL deeer hunt this coming fall, weekend before statewide gun season opens, Energy Lake campground, and this time we need to hook up for an evening meal , exchange of stories and other debauchery ! Don't judge the hunt by this last one, if you guys would have stayed another day the hunting was good !
Randy, Dave and I are going to try and make it an annual hunt. This year there are more ITBA guys that are going to try and make it. Yes we should get together at least once. Sounds like great fun. Dave and I had a great trip last year. We really enjoyed it.
Had I even known you guys were there I promise I would have crashed yer campsite. We made some new friends from South Carolina, and they managed to take a deer as well. It was our most successful hunt, 8 hunters taking 3 deer !
Its a big campground JR, with several loops. I don't think you could all get right together, but as long as we all know whos there we can visit. I am one to never reserve, as I have lost money before when I could not make the trip and not get refunded. That time of year, the campground is pretty vacant, so getting a site is easy. I can promise you, you will not have trouble. If you wished you could reserve sites next to each other. Myself, I wont.
