Traditional Artwork

Picked up my colored pencils back in December after laying off drawing the last 10 years...Did this last night at the kitchen table after thumbing through some old issues of TBM and Fur Fish and Game. Shoulda did some back ground work and landscape, but got too late on me and had to turn in.

Yeah Tim I did, but I haven't got a clue what happened to it.

I'd very much like to have that on the back of a T-shirt, with the ITBA logo on the pocket front-----THIS IS A HINT

Powerful image, nicely done. I wonder what modern hunters would say about this simple drawing. It dosen't need mountains in the background, not ten points, not a show of fancy equipment.

All the shows and stories now days they always say "that's what it's all about".

That my friend is what it truly is all about for a trad man.

Thanks. When I was doing it, I actually kept thinking about a mulberry bow Time helped me with several years ago and he made a comment about "making meat" with it...The doe just seemed to fit.

Folks, ANY animal killed with a longbow/selfbow is a trophy. Double that, if it's done on the ground.
