bunny hunt

biggrin this saturday at bob enlows. 9:am lets get together and chase some furry tails instead of white tails. bob said he has two old dogs that will chase a few for us. you might bring a broadhead or two in case he has some deer with mental problems that will stand still for one of us. so let me know who might be interested and we may do it a few wk. ends in a row, weather permitting. we will definitley do some shooting at something, at least thats what bob said...

sorry about that john. yes it will be dec. 6th and maybe a few more wk. ends if any one wants to continue to show up. bob does'nt muzzle load hunt, and i may not do it this year also. i did'nt ask him if anyone could camp if they wanted to, but i'm sure you can reach bob this week and ask him. fairly certain he won't mind but i can't give the go-ahead on that. it has to come from bob. i hope to see you and a few others there, sounds like fun.

Hey Red.If your not busy Thur. evening between 6:00 and 8:pm come up to Gun World in Corydon. A few of us are having an indoor shoot and you can meet us and join in the fun.

I live in New Albany. John lives up in the tulies and considers any town where Main St aint a dirt two track the big city.biggrin

Rain? We better keep an eye on that.

I'm going way back in my memory banks to a time when Elvis was alive and we had lots of rabbits, but I remember some of the best hunting was right after a heavy rain.

They all be on the edges of fields tryin to dry out.wink

I will bring special chocolate rools that are so good me and Ronald and Ronny Mack been known to fight over the last one.biggrin

They are so special that you only get them about every other decade. They will be very fitting for this hunt cause the last time I had a good rabbit hunt was 1974.

I think this hunt will be one where Legends are made.biggrin

We'll watch the weather but remember a couple years ago you wanted us to drive to Arizona and rabbit hunt. A little rain shouldn't stop us.blankstare

Dennis! I think you hit on something!

The reason we don't have Rabbits anymore is that Elvis took them with him!

PS:  Everything South of Scottsburg is either Georgetown or Louisville.....and it's too damn crowded. evileye

Is this still on ? looks like rain forecasted for sat at Corydon. If not, is there a Wal-Mart there where I can buy out of state license ? and how much would it be ?

As far as I know it's still on Randy... hourly forecast is saying possibly to stop raining at 10 or 11 am tomorrow...

There are a couple of Walmarts... they will be a bit out of your way... there is one in Clarksville, IN on Veterans Parkway... off Exit 5 on I-65 going north...

There is another in Corydon... right on the main Hwy. 135 going south... you will have to double back to get to Bob's...

Well shoot... It won't let me do mapquest links... I've tried twice...

Address at Corydon, Walmart is 2363 Highway 135 Nw, Corydon, IN

Address at Bob's is... 2495 Corydon-New Middletown Road in Corydon, IN

Looks like the rain is over in this area, which is by the Ohio river.

Now John, its just a color, like pink. Should work good as a cresting and fletching color. I too want to thank Bob for having us all. Mason and I had a great time ! Actually got a 5 yard shot at a Rabbit...., 5 yards of bushes ! I don't have to tell you the arrow changed course 5 times before it got to where the bunny wasn't. Still loads of fun though, especially watching Ron trying to shoot at the Kamikazi Hare that came his way, and the impromptu squirrel hunt that turned out meatless as well.
