WELL..........

We drove all night in Stringwaxs' truck. Set up camp at dawn, and beat it into Hastings for breakfast. We shot all three courses over 2 days, Bought some T-shirts, ect. Courses were dead easy. Mosquitos so bad, we all need a transfusion.
We met a bunch of great folks.
EVERYONE from the Michigan longbow association was courteous and friendly. We met folks from Canada, and various places in the US.

String talked the Canucks out of their flag!

We had a clout shoot run by a guy in a kilt with blue face paint. We immediately named him Wallace. We met a Canadian from Ireland who said his mother married a cursed Englishman, and his Grandmother was a whore---I'm not sure he was kidding.
We used Club furnished flu-flus for the clout, and of course, Jim grabbed one of his own cane arrows by mistake, and shot it out of sight! We're still laughing about that!

About the same number of vendors as at cloverdale, but excellent stuff. One guy had old bows for sale, like Earnie Root stuff, Bud Hit bows, ect. We named him cookie man, as we were waiting to get coffee early in the morning  and he gave us excellent oatmeal cookies.
I bought an old Hill bow from him and sold a Martin.

We were the talk of the place, since none of those folks had been around actual Hillbillys. We got fed Venison roast and a most toothsome sausage with Jalapenos in it.

I think I can speak for us all, when I say we had a really good time.

None of us had a camera, but String's friend of the same name is supposed to send him some, and he will post them........We got challenged by a guy in a dress (kilt) to an Interstate bow shoot, but it was to be Sunday afternoon, and we wanted to be home by then.

I did manage to uphold the honor of the ITBA with my Dale Pottenger bow--we don't need to hang our heads in shame.
