I just spoke to JR and found out he had a heart attack early (3am) Thursday morning. He was aware of what was happening and got in touch with his sister and then dialed 911. They got him to the hospitial quick. He had one main blockage and they put a stint in. He is doing well and my get to go home this evening. Doc said he should be ok if he does the right things. I wanted to just let everyone know so our thoughts and prayers are with him. Get well buddy!

I know it will be expensive for out of state license but if you need me to come down there this fall and knock off a few deer off your place just let me know.
Seriously get better soon and do what the Doc says.
Came home this eveing doing allright guys they put a stint in was 100 per cent blocked chest pains get to hospitial quick no damage to heart doc said am very Lucky indeed thanks guys !!!
Dang buddy, that explains why you were feeling bad a week or two ago. I read Steve's post and was tearing up and fearing g for the worst buddy. I'm so freeking glad your ok. If you need anything at all, I'm serious!! Call.
HBK, glad to hear you are doing fine. From one cardiac patient to another: lose weight, limit your saturated fat intake: red meat, sausage, etc., walk as much as you can, stay active, never use an elevator unless you have to go more than ten floors, if you can not handle the going up, for sure, take the stairs going down. I had stents twice and they never worked for me. Surgery in 2000, never looked back. Thanks to The Lord I am doing well, but I am as conscious about my diet and my activity as the first day. I grew that if I had no meat on my plate I did not think I had a meal. Honestly, I could not tell you the last time I ate meat! Fact: POW's that entered camp with bad coronary arteries had, many of them, "clean" coronaries by the time they were liberated. That is what a strict diet can do for you!!! PM me if you want to talk.
