Memories

image.jpgThis was parked yesterday at the church  I attend when I am up in Maine.

According to experts, George S Patton one of them, without it and the Garand rifle we would've never won WW2.

i just could not pass up the opportunity to have the picture. I have not seen one of them in years.

Pure beauty, ain't she!?

Love the Willy's... Always wanted one...

Had to settle about 25 years ago... bought a 5 and did a fiberglass swap...

Been sitting for close to 15 years till last summer... finally got it rolling again... buddy did some frame welding and custom paint... LOL

Affectionately known as the "Redneck Ride"

PS  Had forgotten how much fun a JEEP is...

One of my favorite shows was Rat Patrol. I always wanted one like that, with a quad 50 mounted in back.biggrin

I wouldn't mind one of the modern Hummers if I owned my own gas station.hmm

What I'd really like is one from Old Man Cowels, hereafter referred to as OMC, era of military service.

But them dang chariots are real hard to find now days.biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Dennis, a jeep wouldn't haul a quad 50. If it did, and you lit it off, it would turn over!

Here's some videos that talk about the process of the Jeep... there are 3 parts... about 15 minutes each... some wild footage of them putting some of the early ones through the paces...
