Sunday morning, Drew and I were on our way back from the Compton event in L'ville. We had just about gotten back to Indiana and were cruising down Ky 55 almost to the Markland Dam Bridge. Drew says, "There's something running down that hill. It looks like a hog"...As we got closer, no doubt, a wild boar. Jet black, raised shoulders, long snout and a long straight tail. About 100-125lbs. It ran easily down a steep hill towards the highway and then turned and ran down a deep drainage ditch full of rip rap and disappeared over the embankment. 100% sure it wasn't an escapee or farm hog, looked wild as could be! Drew and I just sat there as we drove past with our jaws opened. Gallatin Co. Ky has at least one wild hog running around the Ohio River!
