Chris, are you grinding your own lams ? If so, I've got some of the prettiest osage planks you ever saw. I was moving them around and realize I have more than I can ever use in my lifetime. They are 12 years old now, 1&1/2 inch thick about 12-14 wide and from 5-6 feet long. If you are grinding, I'll give you one.

I think I have enough.LOL. One of my planks will have a lot of lams in it, I'll give Chris one and he can saw you off a "board" from it. Hell, I'll give him two planks.

While we are on topic Chris, if you would consider it, maybe put me on your list for a bow down the road sometime ? I have a couple bows still in my possession that I made from the same tree but would really like a glass bow from it too. I always called the tree the "Mammoth Tree". The log was 14 feet long and 34" in diameter. I worked up and sold a ton of slats from it, gave a lot away too. All the edge ringed and quarter sawn slats are long gone but the planks now left have the prettiest grained slats in them. If and when you can. Not asking favors either, I'll pay good green for the bow. It would just complete the story of the Mammoth log.

Lol, ain't that the truth! I went out in the shop this morning before work and it was 12 degrees...in the shop! I gotta find a source of heat so I can get back to building.
Chris, aka ****head, aka cueball Smith, all you have to do is drill a hole in the wall slightly larger than the stove pipe, wrap fiberglass mesh around the pipe where it goes through the wall, then put some mesh under each flange that goes on each side of the wall.. then fit your vertical pipe outside, fit your pipe and flu inside to the stove and make sure you have a metal splash plate under the stove.... it's real easy lol..
