According to hatchet Jim, he's only been bow hunting. I'll have to ask him tonight to clarify!

It was a 20ga. H&R slugster that Cody bought him. He was only in the treestand a little and the deer walked right up to him.

We'll see how the story changes by the first shoot.biggrin

? He told me he ran it for 500 yards, and it jumped in the river---then he swam to it and cut it's throat with a toenail

He told me that he once was bitten by a copperhead...he said the poor thing started flopping around on the ground...making weird noises, threw up and finally died...poor snake never had a chance.
