Bob Swinehart's son has his remaining copies. He's pretty proud of them.bleh

Thanks for writing. I have Sagittarius copies for $350 and signed ones for a $1000. Im not sure how many copies I have of In Africa, I'll have to get back to you on that around Thanksgiving.

If he's asking that much for them then I would say that their worth that much....to a collector.

I don't collect rare books.

I think I'll wait for the movie to come out.wink

If I paid that much for a book I wouldn't enough left to pay somebody to read it to me! Guess I'll wait for the movie too!

I have "Sagittarius" great book, mostly of Africa...swinehart was a heck of a hunter.

 Yes, it was a great book. I sold mine several years ago for $100.........can I take the $400 difference as a tax write-off?

Trivia for you guys, Bob was from or lived in Pottstown, PA and maybe buried there. Pottstown is my wife's hometown. Her dad died few years back and is buried there. Her mom is now in a NH in Maysville. Her ashes will go back to Pottstown some day to be with her husband's.

I'll keep you in mind if I ever sell it...but I received a copy of "in africa" not too long ago...be hard to bust up the set!
