Here's the lowdown. Gates open at approx 8:00am on Fri the 20th. Anyone wanting to help set targets are always welcome.
Campers can set up at this time. First come first served. You can camp anywhere on the grounds as long as it doesent present a safety hazzard.
Targets will be set friday morning but the steaks wont be set untill Sat. Therefore anyone will be able to shoot any time Fri. A coon shoot might even break out Food will NOT be provided by the club on Fri.
Ten man shootoff will commence as early as possible on Sat morning. We will have the standard burgers and dogs for lunch. Year end meeting , Best of Best award, Summer Classic plaques given out, bow giveaways, and any elections will be at 1:00pm.
Apitch in dinner will be at 5:00pm. Roumer has it there might be some world class BBQ. Anyone can bring side dishes and deserts.
Trade blanket will commence after dinner. Lets make this one our biggest yet
Bow making and other primative skills will go on through out the weekend.
Now the good news. We have had a very successful year and as a thanks. Dave said members are $5.00 nons. $10.00 for everything. I'm gonna eat, shoot, carve wood, listen to lies, horse trade, and have a general great time. Don't miss it
Well, I'm startin to feel better about the weather forcast. Earlier this week it sounded like the monsoons were gonna hit this weekend. Now their backin off.
Sounds like the only real rain this weekend will be when everyone is sleepin anyway
Sat night sounds perfect for a big campfire. Anyone that has some extra wood, throw a piece or two in their truck and we wont have to scrounge.
Norm has smoked two Boston butts for pulled pork and he also has some chicken smoked and BBQd.
