Sportsmen band together and flex their muscle

A good sign , the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show, Harrisburg PA, the largest outdoor show in the world, had to cancel the show yesterday after a grassroots boycott of the show. The show ,trying to be PC decided to not allow the showing of so called black guns or assault weapons. It lit a fire under some folks and the boycott was on. Gun dealers and manufacturers , archery companies, guide services, boat companies, all of them said "hell no" and pulled out. The promoters had no recourse but to cancel the show, costing themselves millions of dollars and costing the local economy in the tens of millions of dollars. I hope this is a sign that all sportsmen, not just gun owners are now banding together to support each other. This is a big deal.

I have been following that the last few days. Pretty dang cool!

Now we need to really support those companies that pulled out.

I hear Lancaster Archery Supply was the first to pull out. and I agree this is a Big deal!

WOW ! That is wonderful to hear that sportsmen all over are taking this seriously. Money may be the only thing that will make most of these people that are willing to bend to political pressure stand up and take notice. Good for all of them that took this stand.

Thats great news, hit 'em where it hurts, in the wallet ! Bad thing is the gun snatchers will look at this as a victory.

That's just about the perfect way to impact these types, hit them economically, here are two more to boycott:

Dick's Sporting Goods
Buffalo Wild Wings
