I don't reckon they are going to tell you John, but I will. They are all fighting about who is going to get what. I believe they have put a price on your head! You're a "dead man walking"... riding I should say. The only reason I am telling you all this is because they will not let me in in the deal. I want part of the inheritance. Seriously, we missed you. Be careful out there and don't trust even your own shadow. Please send plenty of pictures! Be safe! Next year I will join you... but I am not riding no bike, I am driving. One of my uncles left half of his hide on the pavement after a bike accident and my mamaw made me swear I'd never get on a bike. God bless, José PS I shot with Cowles and Tim. That is how I learned about the plot.
Well, I made it to El Jaunita in the mountains just north of creel, We woke up with about 3 inches of SNOW on the bikes! We are holed up in a motel waiing for it to go away.......is this why they call this stuff an "Adventure"? Jose', I look forward to it! So far, the Mexican people have been friendly and courteous.
welcome from Creel, Mexico. Temps this morning was in the twentys!!!! We got the bikes started and made it to Creel without incident. We're at about 8000 feet. Things are cheap here compared to the US

Tim, many hotels have wi-fi. a 3-star hotel(if you can find one) is about $40 here. Bienviendo from Guacouchi, Mexico. We rode all day through the roughest mountains I have ever seen
Not to worry, Jim. I have seen some BEAUTIFUL women here, but it doesn't bother me like it used to ()
We are in Hidalgo Del Parrell this evening. A pretty big city where they play bumper cars on the street. Sort of like riding in a video game.
We rode through some really pretty mountains today. Had to dodge several wild burros ( a couple looked tastey-fat!)
Even the main roads have burros, horses, and dogs in them. I saw one old Indian woman in Native dress leading a little burro with a load on him way away from a town.
!Hola from Camargo, Mexico it is on the Pan American Highway. Long stretch of plains today. Saw a hay/straw semi-truck that had gotten wrecked due to the wind. LOTS of Pecan trees for miles. Pecan products seem to be a really big export. We plan to make a run for the border tomorrow, and I should be back at the shack by Thursday. This was to be a 2000 mile trip, but the weather froze us out. It has been a good adventure........

My back is hurtin just thinking about 2,000 miles on a bike. So evidently you trailered it part way? Expect a wet ride coming home if you didn't. I had a nice bike that I traded back in the spring for a side by side ATV. The bike wasn't getting rode, and the ATV gets used regularly on the farm. Its depressing to be so damn practicle !
Uh,oh, now Jim and I have to put everything back in the van and take it back.
