That sir, is one of the coolest things I have ever seen! I got to tour the Grayling plant with my dad when I was a kid, I wish I had been old enough to apprieciate what I was really seeing! I remember the receptionist lady gave me a hat pin, I thought it was the best thing ever! I figured I was the ONLY person who ever got one of those special pins! I wore it on a jacket with my Fred Bear Sportsmans Club patch hunting the vast wilds of Orange County with my dad. Man, do I miss those days! Thank you for bringing those memories back...
You have done something that most of us will never get to do J.R... You're a very lucky man to have stood and shot your bow at the very spot where Freds ashes were spread! To have the opportunity to walk through his house and now to own 1 one of 3 famous hats.. Two men in our club met Fred years ago and they were lucky also. But to own the most famous borsalino hat on the planet is very cool... You are very blessed and have alot to be proud of my friend!!!!!
What an amazing adventure!! That was very cool shooting off of papa bears dock where his ashes were laid to rest. I'm sure Fred was smiling down at you my friend. I couldn't think of a better fella for this to happen to.
