Looking for a recurve

Anyone know where I might find a good 35-40# recurve? Austint has outgrown his 25#'er. He really likes Bear Magnums but the Bank o' Dad may be limited to less expensive models ... Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks, Mark B.

You can get brand new, blemished bows from the Bear Archery plant for around $150. Unfortunately you have to drive to Gainesville ,Florida tio make the purchase.

Randy, I appreciate that. Gainsville does seem a bit far - bet it would be fun though... I would like to take a look at the ones you have. I'd be willing to come pay you a visit if that's OK with you.

Hey, Mark. Tommy who shot with us at floyd co has a 4olb sears recurve that he may sell. He lives in Ramsey and said he could meet you half way. He's not sure what it's worth.

He's been shooting a 45# Ben Pearson I have but he's a bit shaky, just too much bow for him. I don't think he could do 40 - 50 shots with one. I think 40# is going to be the max and 35# would be best.

Hmm, Ramsey is pretty close for me. Maybe I need to check out Tommy's 40# first.

Randy, you're located in KY aren't you? Last time I checked they'll still let me across the river! Are any of the one's you have 35#?

I can think of a pretty nice 30# er I have, but would need around $100 for it.If I remember right its a 60" recurve, forget the manufacturer. I'm headed out tommorrow for a 4 day hunting trip, you are welcome to visit me next week. I am right outside a little town called "Burgin" which is about 25 miles southwest of lexington. If you are still intrested We can setup a day.
Randy

Thanks to all but Tommy got us set all up last night. The bow looks like a perfect fit for Austin. Now we just have to wait for Christmas and then Jan 5th to turn him loose with it!
