I know some of the officers were discussing rules yesterday and there is one that I have never thought to ask about. At muzzleloading shoots we have a "You can shoot up but can't shoot down rule " Take a flintlock offhand rifle as an example. There are classes for them but we also allow them to shoot "up" in class. ie: you can shoot an fixed open sight flintlock rifle (the most "primitive" of our guns) in the AMS , percussion matches (our most "modern" muzzleloaders). ie: you can shoot up but not down" rule. What I'm asking is , say at our 2 day Spring shoot, can a selfbow shoot in the longbow and recurve classes " Can a longbow shoot against the recurves ?. The reason I ask , I have asked several before if they are shooting all 3 classes and the answer might be "I only own a selfbow" or " I only own a longbow " We might be able to sell folks more laps around the course if they could shoot up in class. Just asking.
