Got my work somewhat caught up today and have been shooting my Lew Church bow. Got me to thinking. We've talked about him but it never went much farther. We need to see about him. Who can we get ahold of to check on him ? I'd hate to find out something bad has happened and we don't know it.

John bought a Lew Church laminated bow from me in '10...I think I might be able to get my hands on another one if anybody is interested. Buddy of mine bought one same time I did, '92 from Lew in Bedford, Ky. He hasn't shot it for years and I'm guessing he'd let it go right.

Good deal...I always liked that bow and the price was right. That was my first laminated longbow. The one I'm trying to get from my old pal is a reflex deflex design.

Going to look at the Lew Church bow later this week. If I remember right, it has brown glass on the limbs, leather wrapped grip. I can't remember if the core is walnut or not, but it is for sure relex/deflex as opposed to the straight limbed bow I had. Handle was a little fuller too...Anyway, I ought to have it soon and have no need for it. I'll post a couple pics if you fellers are interested. Either 50 or #55. Bow has been unstrung and kept in a case under my buddy's couch since '93!
Found this on the White Pages Lou B Church (502) 255-7232

Does anyone know if that could be the Lew we are looking for ?
