To start I want to thank Steve Humphrey for bring score cards up to our first shoot. Thanks also to ITBA members that was not turkey hunting that came to our first shoot, Dave Mc Knight, I didn't even know he knew how to shoot a bow. Dennis Evans, Ron Mc Donald and Billey Ashby, Ronnie Sillings. Ron Sillings and myself our new shooters and have been shooting for a couple of years. I was put in charge of the FCCC archery program for this year and Ronnie and I put in at least 40 hours work on the course. We have put together a 20 target Traditional course with the first 10 targets set up with trees and stumps as back stops and we have another 10 targets with all shots be fired into a 10 foot high bank. We have worked hard to do away with arrow loss. I know if you shoot our course you will come back. I am having a free shoot this Saturday at 10:00 AM and we will have the gate open from 10:00 to 12:00 so bring some traditional shooter and give us a try, you will like it. If you can't make it Saturday pick a day and time and I will let you shoot the corse for free. Thanks for your time. Norman Perkins 812-945-0818
Mark, the FCCC is located in Georgetown, In. Directions from I 65, take 265 West to I 64 West, take exit 118 for In-64 W/IN-62 West. Turn right on to In 64 W go 4.1 miles to Georgetown, turn right on Church St go 430 ft turn left onto Greenville Georgetown Rd go 1.p miles and it is the first left after the bridge. Hope to see you there.
On the directions to the FCCC, Ronnie Sillings told me that there was no street sign on Church St. As you are reaching the end of Georgetown you will be going down a slight grade and into a slight right curve and the Georgetown Feed and Farm building will be on your right as you exit the turn and the next street on the right will be Church St. and you will see the large church, turn right.
Now Dave I didn't say you could not shoot, I just don't think I have ever seen you shoot but I have half timers so I don't remember much. Most of the time you are taking care of business for the ITBA as pres. If you beat Old Dennis you can be proud because that should put you in the top ten of the world or something like that.
