.................different woods, different glues, different feather patterns, right or left wing, 3 or 4 fletch.............heh,heh,............something to do isn't it?
I have three 6 gallon buckets FULL of arrows,a half-barrel FULL of arrows, and many, many dozen shafts ready to be made. Hell, I have 48 arrows with broadheads on them, and 300 broadheads in a box! I have three patterns for my feather burner.
Sitka Spruce-Port Orford cedar-Douglas Fir-Ramin-Maple--and some odd stuff I forgot what it was....................
No better way to spend the cold days of winter. This is where the love to wood arrows come from: they are your creation, your children. They are family.
Next you guys are gonna start wearin' flowers in yer hair and singin' "cumbaya". Come on, they aint family, their stcks ! I used to really enjoy straightening, staining, crowning, tapering, etc., etc. Dont think I ever thought of them as family though.
